You know that moment when you are remembering something
super funny that happened later in the day so you start chuckling or smiling uncontrollably?
Then you are walking down the hallway with this ridiculous smile on your face
and the students passing by look at you like your completely crazy? Then maybe
a friend passes you by and asks you what was so funny and you tell them the
story but they don’t understand because they weren’t there and now you have
this other issue where they think you are going a little crazy too? Cause same.

Life on a Boat?
Don't
you think it would be amazing to live on a boat? To go wherever you want in the
entire world and have all of your personal belongings right there with you? Maybe
you could even learn how to drive and clean a boat to get a feel for life on
the sea. If you decide you don’t mind it, you could even start looking at
boats. The ones that aren’t too big but not too small either. Then once you
find that boat that is just right, you could start planning your travels or
just work them out along the way. Maybe you stop in a town with friendly people
where you only intended to stay for a night but then end up finding a job and staying
for a few weeks or years. Then maybe you would say goodbye to your friends in
that town and promise you will come back to visit. Then maybe you would set
sail again and continue on your next journey.

The Everglades
There is no other ecosystem like the Everglades in the entire world. It is a mix between lakes, rivers, and swamps and we were going to see it. But to be honest, I was more excited about the alligators. Upon arrival, we began heading towards a walkway that looped around a small portion of the Everglades. The landscape was amazing but as we walked I began to get more and more impatient. I really wanted to see an alligator and so far there had been two but one was too far away and the other was too busy with people watching it sleep. We were almost to the end of the walk when one of the park rangers told us to move to the left quickly. I didn't know why until I noticed the alligator laying just a few inches from the walkway. It wasn't as big as the other two but was still amazing to see. The ranger explained that this one was a Juvenile and that if it wanted to, could cover 30 feet in a second.

You Know When...
You know when you see someone from a few years ago and you decide to try and make eye contact? But then they don't remember you so now you're staring at this person who has no idea who you are? Then you have this other issue where they see you staring and slowly try to move side to side to see if you are looking directly at them or something over their shoulder? Now you have to try and act like something over their shoulder is super interesting and in the split second that they are turned around to see what you were looking at, you start walking the other way? Cause same.

Cats
Dogs are not allowed in my house. Not even those hypoallergenic kinds that don't shed as much. Not even the small ones that make less of a mess. Not even the lazy kinds that don't need a walk every morning. They say we cant get one cause I wont take care of it or I wont do this or I wont do that. They say I'm lazy. Maybe they're right.
I think I'll just stick to the cats.
